This application shows TB incidence, MDR-TB prevalence and HIV prevalence data based on recent WHO estimates.

It also shows the Dutch policies per country regarding BCG vaccination for children, traveler’s advice and the policy for entry and follow-up screening of immigrants. Recommendations are annually updated based on the WHO estimated incidence per country and endorsed by the Committee for Practical Tuberculosis control (CPT) in the Netherlands. The recommendations also take in account the trends in incidence over the last 3 years, the incidence in neighbouring countries and the MDR-TB burden in a country. The full list of country profiles is only available in Dutch. Further detailed information regarding the BCG vaccination policies is available on www.bcgatlas.org.
